The City of Oxford Pathways Commission and the UM Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Committee (BPAC) are collaborating to implement Oxford’s first-ever temporary complete streets pop-up project during the month of July. We successfully raised $4,000 to pay for the materials for this project! Thank you to everyone who made this happen. Check out the video of the project construction made by Jake Jenkins. Send us your feedback on the project by clicking here.

Is your bike not registered? Then come register your bike anytime Monday-Friday from 9-4 at the UM bike shop located across from the Turner Center in the Kennan Observatory Loop.

Registering only takes a few minutes and is completely free! Registering your bike gives you access to the UM bike shop and helps you recover lost or stolen bikes.

You can print the registration form here or pick one up at the UM Bike Shop. All forms must be turned into the bike shop in order to complete the registration process and obtain a bike decal.

Pictured above is Sarah Meeks, Ellen Olack, and Ari Nukherjee, three students who participated in the benefit ride.

This past Friday November 13th, students gathered at the Lyceum to bike to the UM Garden, Lenoir Hall, the Medicinal Plant Garden, and the Food Bank. This bike ride was a part of Real Food Rebels Benefit Bike Tour to help support the Food Bank’s Ignite fundraising campaign, which is attempting to raise $5,000 dollars to bring fresh produce to the Food Bank shelves.

At each garden, there was a short presentation about the gardens before the bikers headed on towards their next location. Thanks to everyone who came out to support the Food Bank and enjoy a nice bike ride!
